Experience the healing and have fun!

Bit By Bit - Therapeutic Riding
Therapeutic Riding is a RECREATIONAL riding lesson program. (This is never covered by insurance)

Therapeutic Riding enables the special needs rider to work on improving knowledge of horsemanship, riding skills, balance, coordination, following directions and completing multi-step obstacles, socialization, self-esteem, and sense of accomplishment. Independence and generalizing all of the skills taught is our goal!

Our therapeutic riding lessons are taught by NARHA Certified Therapeutic Riding Instuctors. Our instructors and therapists complete specialized continuing education seminars in order to ensure higly professional and safe lessons.

At Bit-By-Bit we are equipped to work with people that have various types of challenges, so lessons may move at a slow or fast pace depending on the desires of our special students. If a rider requires assistance to walk, trot, canter, or jump their horse independently, Bit By Bit has helpful teachers who are prepared to use horse leaders and side-walkers to help learning riders along the way. We strive for independence and believe that every rider is entitled to the freedom that comes from riding with their horse.
