Welcome To Bit-By-Bit Therapeutic Riding Center!

Check out our COVER STORY in the July issue of Lifestyle Magazine's: "Horses For Heroes"

At Bit-By-Bit our goal is to help all of our special needs clients become as independent, strong, and confident as possible through the magic of therapeutic horseback riding!

Our mission is to heal, educate, enrich, inspire and empower the lives of others in our community and nation through the gifts of the horse. We strive to provide professional and top-quality therapeutic services to the families of south Florida.

Bit-By-Bit Therapeutic Riding Center was created in 1998 and became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2002. We fundraise to provide therapeutic services to special children and adults regardless of ability to pay. We offer therapeutic riding and hippotherapy services to families from Broward County, Palm Beach County, and Miami-Dade County.

At Bit-By-Bit, we create individualized treatment plans for each of our special clients. Each of these plans recognizes the client's specific burdens and develops short and long term goals that push each client to a higher level of health, strength, and well-being. Bit-By-Bit is a family-friendly, community supported organization which recognizes the healing power that horses share with all humans.

This fall Bit-By-Bit is launching our Veteran Rehabilitation Program at Sand and Spurs Equestrian Park in Pompano Beach. We will be offering private and group therapeutic services to active duty military and veterans including their spouses and children. We will be fundraising to provide these services free of charge to out Heroes. Bit-By-Bit is in the process of formulating relationships with local veteran organizations, including the Miami VA and the Broward VA systems, The DAV, and other patriotic groups in order to strengthen the community support that is available to our beloved servicemen and women. In addition, we will also be piloting therapeutic groups aimed specifically at helping female veterans and veterans receiving hospice care in south Florida. Please contact us if you would like to refer a Hero or to receive our Horses For Heroes Program Application.
